Ports and Harbors

Client: SDA for Frey-Fil Corp.

On November 08, 2013, the Samar Leyte provinces were directly hit by Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan). Cathode Berth superstructure was severely damaged by the storm surge brought by this super typhoon. Majority of the precast beams were uplifted which makes the wharf not operational.
For this reason, the PASAR management decided the need for the immediate rehabilitation of the wharf to make it functional as soon as possible and engaged Frey‐Fil to undertake an immediate assessment to determine the current condition and capacity of the structural members of the wharf.

Freyfil Corporation was contracted by Philippine Association of Smelting and Refining Corporation (PASAR) to perform a Condition and Structural Assessment of the Main Berth located along the western shore of Visayan Sea, Isabel Leyte, Philippines.
The purpose of this project was to determine the structural integrity of the pier in its present condition and to develop cost estimates for feasible repair and replacement alternatives.
Destructive and Non Destructive Test were performed to determine the existing capacities of structural elements. Condition State Rating was also assigned to each structural member to provide qualitative and quantitative measure of defects. Moreover, the structure was analysed against the effects of various loads such as Seismic, Berthing, Wave Deck‐In Forces and the requirement for the new gantry crane.


Client: Frey-Fil Corp.

The project involves the preparation of conceptual and detailed engineering design for the +/‐ 3,700 sq.m. site for the Basilan Government Center which include the outdoor parking lot, main building, government center, access road and perimeter fence.

Client: Frey-Fil Corp.

Involves detailed engineering and architectural design with construction support for the 26,656 sq. m. Athlete’s Village. Design include two 5‐storey dormitory bldgs., central amenity, basketball court and swimming pool.

Power Plant

Client: EEI Corp.

The project involves detailed engineering design of deep foundation for 27 x 3.0 MW Wind Turbine Generators and 22 km access road including drainage and protection works.

Client: Henric Capital Inc.

The project divides in to two Phases. For Phase 1, works includes provision of technical assistance to Koyo (Japanese firm) for the conduct of feasibility study. Among other works includes conduct of River Data Gathering and monthly flow measurement survey, topographic and geological survey with geotechnical investigation and EGGAR for both river.
For Phase 2 serve as technical representative for the permitting and endorsement stage of proposed Hydroelectric Power Plant.

Industrial Plant

Client: Frey-Fil Corporation for MWSI

The project involves the preparation of conceptual and detailed engineering and architectural design of buildings and structures and providing support during construction to the design – build contractor of the 100 – 150 MLD Water Treatment Facility.

Client: Frey-Fil Corporation for Cardinal Agri Corp.

The project involves pre‐engineering and detailed engineering design of various structures of the facility and providing construction support such as preparation of shop drawings and fabrication drawings.

Roads and Bridges

Client: SDA for EEI Corporation

This is a Design‐Build contract of EEI for the San Miguel Corporation Toll‐way concessionaire.
The consultant’s scope is the design review of Skyway 3 Sections 3 and 4 with more than 7 km viaduct along Araneta Ave. cor. Aurora Blvd. to A. Bonifacio in Balintawak.
Generally, it has 3 lanes each direction, total of 215 piers and two levels viaduct at certain locations.

Client: Frey-Fil Corporation

The project involves the preparation of concept, detailed design for the 35 + 70 + 35 meters segmental box girder bridge including the preparation of fabrication and shop drawings.

Client: SDA for Frey-fil in JV with EEI Corporation

The project involves the rehabilitation of a four lane steel truss bridge with a total length of 139 l.m. and a total superstructure width of 25.336 m. In addition, the bridge is strengthened to meet the current code requirements for live load and seismic load. The approaches are composed of 4 lanes divided highway, 0.30m thick Portland cement concrete pavement of 16.07m width and slope protection works.


Client: SDA for PNR (Philippine National Railways)

The project involves technical Inspection and Safety Assessment of tracks and bridges in four divisions of PNR’s South line.
Engineering investigation includes structural, geotechnical, drainage investigations of more than 400km of tracks and including 440 bridges.

Client: Frey-Fil Corporation

The project includes preparation of Shop Drawings/Fabrication Drawings of Post‐ Tensioned/Pre‐stressed U Girders for 442 spans (total of 907 girders) including cable layout and theoretical elongation calculation for posttensioning works. The project covers all spans with precast U‐girders from North Avenue to San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan, Philippines.

Precast and Prestressed Buildings

Client: Frey-Fil Corporation

Design of pre‐cast walls and preparation of shop drawings for the above SM Development Corporation Commercial Condominiums.

Design of GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) and preparation of shop drawings for Park Terraces Tower 1 – a prime residential complex in Makati developed by Ayala Land Premier.
